A magnificent collection of Latin American art from the early 20th century to the present day is housed at MALBA (Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires). The bright and airy rooms also hold cutting-edge temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
Opened in 2001, MALBA shuns a chronological approach to its collection and instead orders works by type, revealing the similarities and differences between artists. There is also a constant flow of film, literature and educational activities.
