In a country where gauchos are still very much a thing of the present, the nine-day International Equine and Horse Riding Exhibition (Nuestros Caballos) at La Rural exhibition centre is an important event.
Eleven of the best breeds of horse parade and perform in spectacular shows at this typically Argentinian exhibition. Visitors can learn about country dress and rural traditions, and there are over 200 commercial stands for those who can tear themselves away from cooing over the horses.
