The Boca Stadium is home to one of the most popular and successful of Argentina's football teams, Club Boca Juniors. A sea of blue and yellow produces passionate cries and chanting at every home match.
This landmark, fondly referred to by the locals as the bombonera or sweet box, was built in the 1940s. With its horseshoe structure, three superimposed levels and steep angle of incline, it is capable of seating up to 60,000 spectators. The Museo de la Pasión Boquense (Museum of Boca Passion) is a must-see, devoted to the history of the club and its present and past players.
